As an important part of archival work, archival compilation and research is a key bridge between archival institutions and the audiences of archival information services, and the wide use of new media brings both opportunities and challenges for the innovative transformation of archival compilation and research. Archival compilation and research in the new media environment has attracted wide attention from scholars in the field of archival science. However, there are few studies on large-scale new media archival compilation and research outputs, and there is a lack of analysis of their meaning based on text content. This study aims to explore the driving factors for archival institutions, enterprises and public institutions, and individuals to use new media to carry out archival compilation and research in the current new media environment. Based on a lexical association method, it reveals the content structure of new media archival compilation and research, and presents the current state of its content in the new media environment more deeply and intuitively, so as to provide references for future theoretical research and practical improvement of archival compilation and research. For this project, the research group completed a project research report and 2 academic papers, published in authoritative professional journals of archival science such as "Beijing Archives" and "Archives & Construction".
