On May 15, Baobin Rong, Deputy Director of Hefei Municipal Archives, led a delegation to the Key Laboratory of Intelligent Development and Service of Archives for a visit and investigation. Ping Wang, Deputy Dean of the School of Information Management of Wuhan University and Director of the Laboratory, among others, attended the symposium.

Ping Wang introduced the laboratory's background, research directions, platform development and research achievements, and demonstrated the results of applying new-generation information technologies such as artificial intelligence and large models in archival resource development, intelligent retrieval, knowledge organization and smart archival services. The two sides held in-depth exchanges on AI-empowered archival work, archival digital transformation, smart archives construction, and archival science and technology innovation.

Baobin Rong spoke highly of the laboratory's achievements in the field of intelligent development and service of archives. He said that the visit had further deepened his understanding of the trends in intelligent archival development and the application of related technologies, and he hoped that both sides would take this exchange as an opportunity to further strengthen communication and cooperation and jointly explore new paths for the deep integration of artificial intelligence technology with archival work.
