On October 15, Shihua Li, Director of Shandong Provincial Archives, and his delegation visited the Key Laboratory of Intelligent Development and Service of Archives for an inspection and research visit. Jianzhou Gao, Deputy Secretary-General of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee; Haibin Ai, Director of the Archives Administration Division of the General Office of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee; Zhiqing Yang, Director, and Xueming Liu, Deputy Director, of the Office of Hubei Provincial Archives; and Ping Wang, Director of the Laboratory and Deputy Dean of the School of Information Management, among others, attended the symposium.

At the meeting, Ping Wang and members of the laboratory team introduced the laboratory's development history, co-construction mechanism, research directions, achievement transfer and external exchanges, and gave on-site demonstrations of achievements such as the archives opening review system, the multimedia image management system and the archival intelligent agent platform. Afterwards, the two sides exchanged views on dataset training for the intelligent agent platform, archives opening review and the screening of classified archives.

Shihua Li highly commended the fruitful achievements the laboratory has made in the digitalization and intelligentization of archives. He expressed the hope that the two sides would take this symposium as an opportunity to further deepen exchanges and cooperation, jointly explore new ideas for the development of archival undertakings, and promote the high-quality advancement of archival work to a new level.
