From June 1 to 3, Muyan Li, a postdoctoral researcher at the Key Laboratory of Intelligent Development and Service of Archives, and Hanqin Yang, a 2022 doctoral student in Archival Science, attended the "2nd Future Archival Science Young Scholars Salon," hosted by the School of Information Resource Management of Renmin University of China, the School of Information Management of Nanjing University, and the Electronic Records Management Research Center of Renmin University of China, jointly with the editorial office of "Archives & Construction." They presented their latest research findings and innovative ideas in the parallel roundtable dialogue and the lightning talk sessions, respectively.

In the parallel roundtable dialogue, Muyan Li focused on "Interdisciplinarity and Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration in Archival Science" and shared findings from research on "archival think tanks" that integrates perspectives and methods from archival science, think tank studies and other disciplines. Based on an analysis of current types of interdisciplinary archival research, she proposed ideas from three aspects, namely import, export and integration, on how future archival research and practice can follow the trend of interdisciplinary development and improve quality and efficiency.

In the lightning talk session, Hanqin Yang presented on "User Research on Web Archive Resources for Precision Services," arguing that understanding user needs, motivations and behavior patterns helps bridge the gap between efforts to build web archive resources and users' specific needs and uses. The research findings will contribute to more precise and efficient web archive resource services.
