From April 25 to 29, Xingrong Fu, Party Secretary of the School of Information Management, Wuhan University, and Prof. Ping Wang, Deputy Director of the Laboratory and Head of the Department of Archives and Government Information Science, visited the National Library and Archives of the UAE and Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi as members of a delegation.

During the visit, the delegation held in-depth discussions with the Director General of the National Library and Archives of the UAE and heads of relevant departments, as well as with the President, the Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Head of the History Department of Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi. Xingrong Fu thanked the Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi delegation for attending the celebrations of Wuhan University's 130th anniversary. He introduced Wuhan University and the School of Information Management and expressed the hope of further substantive cooperation. Ping Wang presented the talent cultivation, academic research and international exchange of the archival science discipline at Wuhan University, as well as the development of the Key Laboratory, and expressed the hope of establishing a long-term cooperation mechanism in archival science education and research. The delegation also visited the Sorbonne Center for Artificial Intelligence and discussed research cooperation in mathematics and artificial intelligence.
